I've decided to take kind of a new direction with this blog if I ever get in a habit of writing.
Here's the deal. Once upon a time I was really shy. Really shy. My 5th grade teacher gave me some advice and wrote it in my yearbook. Let's preface this with, my 5th grade teacher was awesome. His name was Mr. C and he said he was born in the hospital elevator, which is maybe why he turned out a little crazy. What a way to start off life right?
Anyway while I was talking to my mom the other day, and as I've been trying to find my way through this crazy creative world, my mom reminded of Mr. C's advice. His advice to me was "step off the platform and onto the train of life".
I'm definitely not really shy anymore, but I'm definitely not a pusher and still need to learn to stick up for myself. So that's the new theme that I'm going to keep at the forefront of everything. I'm going to try and use this blog to help me be accountable to that every day.
So here goes...
You can do it Lauren! You are amazing and have so many great talents to share with the world! I still remember when you were about 4 yrs old and you thinking that if you put your arm up in front of your eyes and couldn't see us that we couldn't see you either! So cute! Good luck with your upcoming adventures! :)
